The grand prize of $80 000 in the Titan Poker Refer a Friend Freeroll this week went to French player Thierry Barou, whose online player “handle” is “bioman,” and who qualified for the Refer a Friend Freeroll in July. Players qualified for seats through special promotions and by referring friends to Titan Poker.
“I didn’t move from my chair for seven hours during the tournament,” Barou said. “I invite all players to try, everything is possible and as you can see, you can have a very good day where nothing bad can happen to you.”
With a prizepool of $500,000 the freeroll attracted a large group of players, 300 of them finishing in the money.
