The organisers of the Ultimate Poker Challenge made a shrewd move this week in allying themselves with the growing womens poker demographic through a partnership with Women Poker Player Magazine.
The idea behind the association is to add a women’s event to the third season of the Ultimate Poker Challenge scheduled to begin on February 9 next year at Binions, with a televised final table on the following day.
Buy-ins for the event are expected to be “moderate,” and a significant feminine turnout is anticipated.
