All players who reach a FTOPS final table will receive a limited-edition brag jacket, with the winners additionally getting a gold FTOPS jersey, a gold jersey avatar on the Full Tilt website and an entry into the FTOPS Season II Tournamament of Champions. This tournament is a freeroll for all FTOPS winners, with the possibility of a sponsored seat in the next World Series of Poker Main Event as its top prize.
The Tournamament of Champions takes place Saturday, May 24.
FTOPS has become one of the poker industry’s great successes, drawing thousands of players to the Full Tilt action. The series debuted in August 2006 with eight events and a million dollar prize pool, and has boomed ever since, with FTOPS 7 awarding over $15 million in prize money (see previous report).
Players can win seats to all FTOPS events through Full Tilt’s Satellite Challenge, and a “Bouncebackability” freeroll is also offered to the last player eliminated before the money bubble in all the events, with the prize for this special category a seat in the next FTOPS main event.
