Internet high stakes poker ace Dan “Jungleman” Cates (22) is to repeat his generous offer last year of a $10,000 buy-in for the World Series of Poker main event and ancillary expenses such as air travel and hotel accommodation; this year it will go to an individual who organises or performs a good deed.
Jungleman will select the winner based on his or her achievement, recorded on video, which must be published on Youtube by June 20.
“I will never forget when I was playing low stakes in college and I don?t take for granted any success I have had,” says Cates. “I want to give something back to those who are just falling in love with the game or haven?t had the opportunities I am lucky to have had.”
