Blom hands Dwan a drubbing.

The much-publicised heads up clash between Tom ‘durrr’ Dwan and Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom took place on the Full Tilt Poker site this week, leaving Blom a convincing winner.

The contest started out as a $100,000 buy-in for each player, with the action across four virtual tables in a winner-takes-all match. But, typical of the two contestants, that soon escalated into a $200,000 buy-in across six tables of $100/$200 heads-up No-Limit Hold’em…with the winner taking all.

Just over two-and-a-half-hours and 1,391 hands later it was all over, with Blom giving a masterly demonstration of how to dominate a game, which included a pot of $104,000 at one point, taken by Blom.

The match attracted plenty of railbird traffic to Full Tilt to witness an epic challenge.
