Phil Ivey had a good run in the Aussie Millions $250K Super High Roller Challenge, beating Patrik Antonius heads-up to take home a $2 130 000 million paycheck this weekend.
Hailed as a significant comeback for the American poker pro, the win signified one of the biggest career cashes for Ivey when he bested an impressive field that included Daniel Negreanu, Sorel Mizzi, Tom Dwan, John Juanda, Sam Trickett, Erik Seidel and Jason Mercier.
Ivey has earned just under $16 million in career tournament earnings to date and has over-taken Daniel Negreanu in second place on the “All-Time Money List” behind Eric Seidel.
