MGM and Boyd Gaming the latest to seek Nevada poker licenses.

Two major American land gambling groups that recently signed an online poker partnership deal with Bwin.party digital entertainment, a major European internet gambling group, have become the latest to apply to the Nevada Gaming Control Board for an intrastate internet poker licence, according to a report in the respected publication Card Player.

The Bwin.party group includes large online poker companies like Party Poker and the World Poker Tour.

The news comes on the heels of reports earlier this week (see previous bulletin) that Fertitta Interactive and its subsidiary Cyberarts had applied for similar licensing.

Card Player, which has been following the development of online poker licensing in Nevada closely, published the following list of applicants thus far:
