Pokerstars execs will be delighted with the performance of the company’s inaugural MicroMillions Series, which concluded Sunday after a 10-day run and pulled in an extraordinary 54,065 pokerheads in the $22 buy-in main event, which carried a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

After 14 harrowing hours Czech Republic online player “Zabaleta1” emerged the winner, although as a result of a three way chop in the final stages of the game he took home ‘only’ $140,000.

Over a third of the total prize pool was distributed to the top 3 players, Zabaleta; dannyboi1987 from the United Kingdom ($90,781.72); and Canadian player sebastion86 ($111,183.84).
