The Asian Poker Tour claims that the $129,000 buy-in for its Manila Millions Super High Roller tourney in the Philippines will not only generate a prize pool worth $3 million, but also constitutes the biggest buy-in yet for an Asian live tournament.
According to the organisers, 25 players have so far signed up, including Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan, John Juanda, Andrew Robl and Sam Trickett.
The tournament starts this Friday.
