RaiseandFold.com, an online poker room on the Everleaf network, claims its motivation for introducing a generous new 40 percent rakeback plan for its players is to encourage them to play more in a difficult economic climate.
Announcing the rakeback, which will apply to all players, the poker room said it would provide players with an opportunity to put more of their money into play.
“This plan will tabulate the total amount of rake that was contributed by the player (including tournament fees), and return 40 percent of that amount to the player’s account,” a company spokesman said.
“Today’s economic climate has put pressure on all of us. Poker players are no exception, and through the rake back plan this will allow the players the opportunity to play more and the chance to win more,” he added.
