Tom “durrrr” Dwan appeared to be spending more time on international live poker tournament action than in the online high stakes environment in recent times, but he was back with a bang this week, racking up $527,600 in profits across 852 hands against some of Full Tilt Poker’s toughest nosebleed stakes players.
Pot Limit Omaha was Dwan’s most frequent choice as the week drew to a close, and in one memorable session he tangled with “SetoKaiba1”, “DrugsOrMe” and Gus “the great Dane” Hansen, winning an impressive $110,000.
Dwan took that to a $500/$1000 CAP NLHE heads-up table on Full Tilt, where he engaged with “Trueteller” in an hour-and-a-half thriller before taking $170,000 off him, too.
Allied to his other wins in the session, Dwan took home $527,600, bringing his profits for the week to $1,041,054, a total rivalled only by Ben “Sauce 1234” Sulsky. He was up $1,366,597 on the week, most of it thanks to a spectacular spanking he delivered to Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom (see previous reports.)
