Online poker operator Full Tilt Poker has revealed that it plans to launch a new online poker tournament series titled Micro Turbo Online Poker Series (MTOPS) on June 9.

MTOPS is designed for micro- and low-stakes players, comprises 75 multi-entry events and will run through to June 23, offering over $2 million in guaranteed prizes.

The high point of the tournament will be a NLHE main event carrying a $15 buy-in and a guaranteed $1 million prize pool. Entrants will get 10,000 chips to start in the event, which is scheduled to kick off on Sunday June 23.

A Full Tilt statement this week revealed that the new tournament will feature a wide range of game-styles to suit most poker fans, including Irish, Courchevel and 5-Card Stud.

Sarne Lightman, Full Tilt Poker’s head of marketing, said: “MTOPS features a huge variety of games, big prize pools and some of the smallest buy-ins we have ever offered. The Multi-Entry Turbo Format means even the most time-constrained players will be able to compete in what will be one of our most exciting and affordable tournament series yet.”
