WSOP Europe schedule released.

The fourth World Series of Poker Europe – the only element in the franchise held outside the United States – is due to start in London this year with a GBP 2 650 NLHE 6-max between September 14-16th.

Four other events will follow, according to the schedule released by the organisers this week:

Event 2 – GBP 5 250 PLO – September 16th-18th
Event 3 – GBP 1 075 NLHE – September 17th-21st – three starter days are planned.
Event 4 – GBP 10 350 High Roller Heads-Up NLHE September 21st-23rd
Event 5 – GBP 10 000 NLHE Main Event – September 23rd-28th, in which two starter days are envisaged.

Cardplayer magazine owner Barry Shulman will be defending his title as last year’s winner of the main event of a championship competition that has been widened to five events. The new tourney on the schedule is a GBP 10 350 buy-in NLHE High Roller Heads-Up tournament that should be sufficiently tempting to draw in many of poker’s big international players.

The international Caesar’s Cup, which last year saw the Brits trounce the American team, has been dropped from the schedule.
