A four-year WSOP bracelet drought for top woman player Vanessa Selbst (27) was broken this weekend with her triumph in event 52 – $2,500 buy-in 10 Game Mix Six Handed against a field of 421 hopefuls.
The highly respected professional player earned a very worthwhile $244,259 first-place prize and her second WSOP bracelet after surviving a final table of quality players and a heads up against Michael Saltzburg on Sunday.
Selbst delivered an impressive final table performance, eliminating all save one of her opponents around the table.
