Everest poker rooms moveing to iPoker Network?.

By RP, August 25, 2012

Anonymous sources “close to the issue” have told the Pokerfuse information site that Everest Poker’s two struggling poker rooms – on licensed in Malta and the other in France – are to abandon their software and join Playtech’s growing iPoker network.

Numbers from the independent online poker monitor Pokerscout have shown a persistent decline in traffic at the two Everest sites, giving credibility to the idea that a network switch may be in prospect.

Pokerfuse observes that Everest players will benefit from increased player liquidity and more action across multiple games, along with access to the popular fast-fold genre deployed by iPoker dubbed “Speed Holdem.”

One major question is whether the two Everest rooms will qualify for the top tier in iPoker’s imminent segregation of its operators into two tiers, with strict requirements for the top tier (see previous reports).

Everest has not thus far commented on the report, and no timeframe for the switch was revealed.
