Frenchman wins WSOPE Event 3.

French live poker pro Roger Hairabedian (60) won the third 2012 World Series of Poker Europe event, becoming the first French-born player to have won an event in the WSOPE’s six-year history and taking home his first WSOP gold bracelet.

Topping a strong field of 97 that included the likes of Michael Mizrachi, Joe Hachem and Jason Mercier at a final table of nine that lasted the better part of nine hours, Hairabedian defeated Ville Mattila heads-up to take the prize earning Euro 142 590.
