The PokerStars inaugural All Stars Showdown has its first champion.
Dan “w00ki3z.” Cates beat Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky in a heads-up final that lasted around eleven hours.
Cates won $550 000 and took a hotly contested title from some of the best players in the online poker world who included Ike Haxton, Tobias “KTPOKP” Kuder, Alex “Sussie Smith” Roumeliotis and Phil Galfond.
Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky took home a well-earned $250 000 for his runner-up finish.
