Last week and this, the internet’s arguably second biggest operator has increased its guaranteed prize pools on 13 of its top tournaments, rewarding players with higher guarantees via Special Edition events.
The player community has reportedly responded positively, with activity rising.
This week will see more investment in larger SE prize pool guarantees, among them the monthly Whale tournament, where the guarantee has been boosted by $50,000 to $200,000, and the Mega Deep – up $20,000 to $120,000. Similarly the company’s Sunday Challenge this week has a guarantee of $100,000 – up $25,000.
