The Swedish Poker-SM Online Championship Series (PSMO) next month is to be sponsored by 888Poker, with the online poker provider running satellites for seats in the main event of the Championship.
A press release from 888 this week advises that the organisers expect entries for the main event to double this year to around 250 to 300 players.
The Championship runs for a week and comprises six tournaments, says Mauritz Altikardes, CEO of PSMO organisers Poker Event Svenska. He anticipates that the schedule will attract a number of Swedish and international big names in the game.
