Absolute Poker.com’s college student targeted “Win Your Tuition” online poker tournament has a winner

21 year old Jeremy Olisar of Carnegie Mellon will receive a cheque for his Fall tuition fees after winning the tournament in October. The student from Naperville, Ill, bested opponents from over 300 colleges in the freeroll No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament.

“We want to create customer loyalty and brand recognition, and college players are the fastest growing segment of online poker participants,” Absolute Poker’s Michael Edwards said. “But we’re also a young company, and not too separated from the years when Ramen noodles and Kraft dinners were our main meals.”
