Bwin.Party subsidiaries PartyPoker and World Poker Tour, along with their online partners, are laying out big money to create exciting live poker tournament prize pools that will appeal to a wide range of players.

PartyPoker’s Pokerfest has seen an investment of a million dollars in guaranteeing a tasty prize pool in the 67 event fest, which is currently spawning $1 and $5 buy-in qualifying satellites for a main event that carries a guaranteed $300,000 prize pool.

Pokerfest runs for 15 days between March 2 – 16 featuring Hold’em, Omaha, bounty tournaments, rebuys and turbos.

Over in the States, Nj.partypoker.com will double-up the state’s biggest weekly online poker tournament by guaranteeing a $100,000 prize pool on March 2. The $200 buy-in tournament starts at 5pm every Sunday, typically with a $50,000 guarantee that will be doubled for the day.

On the World Poker Tour front, a Euro 250,000 guarantee has been invested for the pmu.fr WPT National Paris tournament, for which qualifiers just started on PartyPoker.fr and will run until 6th April. The buy-in for the first stop of the pmu.fr WPT National Tour in France which takes place between April 17 -20 at Cercle Clichy Montmartre has been reduced to Euro 1200.
