Dutch poker pro Rens Feenstra has claimed the winner’s prize of $103,000 in the Unibet Open Riga poker tournament main event, further boosting a bank balance already swollen by his $205,879 victory in the recent Master Classics of Poker tournament.

Feenstra started final table action as the chip leader, facing Rick Jansen, Damian Mizinski, Jens Hansen, Jarkko Mammela, Kristaps Bertulis, Anders Kjellerup, Nicolas Storm and Imro Sendar.

With the elimination of third-placed Jens Hansen for $46,388, Feenstra came up against Rick Jansen in the heads up, with Jansen holding a lead that he managed to build to a 2 to 1 advantage before Feenstra came back into the game with a vengeance through a double up.

That positioned him so strongly that his opponent had to concede defeat, softened by the runner up prize of $72,198.
