21-year-old Brit economics student Harry Lodge triumphed to the tune of GBP 60,000 in the Sky Poker 6-Max UK Poker Championships at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham this week, defeating Richard Hawes heads-up to claim the main prize.

475 hopefuls entered for the GBP 550 buy-in event, creating a prize pool comfortably in excess of the GBP 250,000 guarantee

Going into the final day of the competition Lodge was second only to the chip leader, Richard Hawes, who turned out to be his opponent in the heads up…a tough struggle between two talented players which Lodge ultimately won, leaving Hawes with the GBP 36,000 runner up prize.
