Fourth edition of Super High Roller Bowl names more players.

By RP, April 20, 2018

Poker Central and the Aria have unveiled another fifteen top international poker players chosen by lottery to participate in the $300,000 buy-in 2018 Super High Roller Bowl, where the prize pool is expected to top $14 million, ensuring big rewards for the top finishers.

With just 48 seats available, prospective players have to put down a $30,000 non-refundable deposit in order to take part in the lottery for seats…and there has been no shortage of demand.

30 seats were awarded to many of the top players in the world last month from an application list of 61, and that has been followed by a further lottery draw to identify the latest 15 entrants. The lists read like a who’s who of international poker, full of stellar professional players from around the globe.

The event takes place at the Aria in Las Vegas between May 27-30, and winners are handsomely rewarded; defending champion Christoph Vogelsang took home $6,000,000 last year, and Rainer Kempe’s pay day in 2016 was $5,000,000, whilst Brian Rast (2015) added $7,525,000 to his bank balance.

Just three seats are now left and will be allocated by Poker Central and Aria, with one seat reserved for the winner of the inaugural Super Satellite Series, which features two progressive satellite tournaments played in the days leading up to the Super High Roller Bowl.

Vice President of Content at Poker Central Sam Simmons said in a press release this week:

“We welcome the 15 VIPs to the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl field who are comprised of some of the most notable names in high stakes tournament poker. These names are sure to make for the most star-studded tournament field of the year.”

The 2018 Super High Roller Bowl will be streaming live on PokerGO, Poker Central’s live streaming video subscription service. Original episodes of the event will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network, NBCSports.com, and the NBCSports app.
