French online poker site calls it a day.

Europoker players at last have some concrete information after a period in which the operator’s descent into bankruptcy caused more than a few sleepless nights.

The former Ongame skin officially shut down late September in a poorly managed closure that left players uninformed on the next step and unable to access their accounts, creating concerns about account balances and important ancillary benefits like bonuses, loyalty rewards and rakeback.

The operator, EP Media, has recently communicated with players to advise them that court proceedings – presumably the bankruptcy process – are underway but have been delayed to October 23.

In the meantime, players have been urged to submit their claims via registered mail to an administrator identified as Equitis Management, which will presumably process their claims in the liquidation process.

French players have been further angered by the president of French regulator ARJEL, Charles Coppolani, who expessed a wish to discuss the issue with player representatives, only to unilaterally cancel the meeting.
