German poker pro Dietrich Fast has followed his $1.5 million 2016 WPT and $1 million LA Poker Classic victories last year with another big money win in the $50,000 buy-in Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Super High Roller, banking $483.693.

The Florida event attracted 28 entries that included notable names like Dan Colman, Jason Mercier, Tom Marchese, Scott Seiver and Byron Kaverman, none of whom reached the final table.

Going into the heads up stage of the game Fast held a 2 to 1 chip lead as he faced the formidable young Spanish pro Adrian Mateos, but if the railbirds expected a monumental battle between two very talented and aggressive players, they were disappointed; the duo quickly agreed a chop that gave Fast the honours and the bigger pay day, whilst Mateos was happy to take home $413,567

Other final table cashes included:

Rainer Kempe $220,864
David Peters $151,844
Jason Koon $110,432
