Has Grand Poker Network foundered?.

By RP, December 13, 2017

The Grand Poker Network, founded three years ago by online poker operator 5Dimes, appears to be in serious difficulties and has been offline for over a month without proactively communicating with its players or affiliates to explain what is happening.

Reporting on the apparent closure of the site, online poker information site ProfessionalRakeback notes that early in November players began complaining that the network (also known as The Dragon Room) was inaccessible.

Some players reported early responses from customer support giving conflicting reasons ranging from maintenance requirements to a total shutdown, but no official public statement has been released by the operator.

This state of affairs continued into December, when Sports Book Review posters who were also Grand network players reported that their poker account balances were being transferred to their sportsbook accounts, and 5Dimes claimed that the network was simply upgrading its software and servers.

Over a month of downtime suggests something more serious than an upgrade, and speculation continues on whether the network will ever return to service.
