Greenwood does it again.

Just two weeks on from his Euro 1 million victory in the Euro 51,000 buy-in PartyPoker Live Millions Grand Final €51,000 Super High Roller, Canadian poker pro Sam Greenwood has done it again,  besting a stellar field to claim the main prize of Euro 1,52 million in the Euro 100,000 buy-in PokerStars and Monte-Carlo Casino EPT Super High Roller.

The win brings his career live tournament earnings to over $10 million.

The prestigious event attracted 46 entries (including 16 re-entries) and generated a prize pool of Euro 4,462,920, enabling the top six finishers to cash.

German pro Christoph Vogelsang dominated much of the action in the closing stages of the competition and headed the final table in chip counts, where he managed to maintain and grow a healthy stack into the three hour heads up with Greenwood, who had the chip advantage as the two faced off.

Vogelsang played aggressively to narrow the gap and then overtake the Canadian, at one point holding a 4 to 1 chip advantage, but Greenwood scored some impressive double ups to secure a solid lead and managed to leverage that into a convincing victory over a very able opponent, sending Vogelsang home with the runner-up prize of Euro 1,046,000.

The quality of the opposition can be judged by the four other players who cashed in the event:

Ali Reza Fatehi Euro 669,920
Ole Schemion Euro 513,000
Justin Bonomo Euro 401,000
Isaac Haxton Euro 313,000
