The publication High Stakes Database reports that high-profile, high stakes poker players playboy Dan Bilzerian and hedge fund manager Bill Perkins were banned last weekend by online poker site Americas Cardroom for “blatant” multi-accounting whilst live streaming via Twitch.

The HSDB report notes:

“The blatant multi-accounting first came to light last month after Bilzerian streamed himself playing on Perkins “gastrader” account on Perkins Twitch channel “The Thirst Lounge”. Perkins and another friend were often seen in the background observing the action as Bilzerian dusted off the funds in Perkins account playing heads-up at the $10/$20 tables.

“The incident became worldwide news after Doug “WCGRider” Polk made a YouTube video criticizing Bilzerian’s play and implying that contrary to Bilzerian’s claims, that there was no way that the King of Instagram made his millions at the poker tables. The story was picked up globally, appearing in some of the world’s biggest daily newspapers” (see also previous InfoPowa reports).

“Americas Cardroom initially did not take any action against the two high profile poker players. After all, Bilzerian alone has a massive following that can most certainly drive traffic to the ACR site. But Bilzerian continued streaming from Perkins account live on air.

“By Friday, the online poker room had finally had enough. They cut off Bilzerian’s play while multi-accounting bare-chested.

“They f**kin’ kicked us off!” Bilzerian could be overheard saying.

“We got booted, finally?” Perkins responded to his friend.
