Feared and respected online cash game ace Ilari ‘Zigmund’ Sahamies is taking a break from poker to deploy his persuasive and bluffing talents in the Finnish version of the famous “Survivor” television reality show, according to a report in Poker News Wednesday.
Sahamies is apparently a restless soul who has also dabbled successfully in rapping, Youtube exploits and other reality shows such as the Fear Factor, making him a well-known figure in Finnish society.
The Finnish version of Survivor is titled Selviytyjät Suomi. First place prize is Euro 50,000, and the show is already being screened after shooting in the Philippines in June and July of 2017. So far Sahamies remains in contention, deploying his poker face to good effect.
