Indian online poker provider PokerBaazi (Baazi Networks Pvt. Ltd.) has announced its involvement in a new fantasy sports enterprise titled BalleBaazi, which will be operated by SBN Gaming Network Pvt. Ltd.
BalleBaazi, has been live since January this year and offers several original features such as micro fantasy formats and batting and bowling specific fantasy games. PokerBaazi founders would have majority stake in the venture.
PokerBaazi chief executive said of his company’s investment in the new business: “This investment comes as part of our endeavour to expand and grow online gaming in India as a whole. Fantasy cricket has a huge scope in a cricket crazy country like India.
