The on again, off again IPO by Canadian poker company Excapsa was making the news as we went to press this week with fresh reports that the company has a London launch in mind.
The software company, which powers sites such as UltimateBet and UltimatePoker is gearing up to raise as much as GBP 75 million in an AIM flotation, which would value the company at more than GBP 150 million.
Excapsa had announced plans for a listing last summer after Party and Empire went public, but the volatile nature of the market following Party Poker’s pessimism in September discouraged a launch at that time.
