Todd Bui, a cash-game grinder from Sacramento and Los Angeles, claimed his first WSOP winner’s bracelet and a $124,510 prize Saturday for taking down Event 16, a $1,500 buy-in Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Low Ball contest.

348 hopefuls entered for the event, creating a prize pool of $469,800. Among the entrants were names like Todd Brunson, Dan Smith, Jason Mercier, Scott Clements, Phil Galfond, Daniel Negreanu, Ted Forrest, David Benefield, Josh Arieh and Justin Bonomo.

Bui, who started final table action with one of the lowest stacks, managed to improve his fortunes to face off against Tom Franklin in the six-hour heads up after three days of hectic action.

Bui managed to grab the chip lead just after the three-handed stage was reached, and he held on to it through to the heads up and eventual victory, sending Franklin home with a second place prize of $76,943.

It was Bui’s first World Series of Poker winner’s bracelet.

Other final table pay-outs included:

David Bell  $49,944
Vladimir Shchemelev  $33,388
Aaron Steury  $22,935
David Gee  $16,710
