Loosli takes EPT Estrellas High Roller event.

French poker pro Sylvain Loosli took down the European Poker Tour (EPT) Estrellas Barcelona €50K Super High Roller Event besting a star charged field and ultimately Dzmitry Urbanovich in heads-up play.

Loosli pocketed a handsome Euro 1,224,000, the win marking his biggest result since finishing fourth in the 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Argentinean Mario Lopez took down the EPT Estrellas Barcelona Main Event earning himself a Euro 408,000 paycheck.

Lopez emerged victorious from a field of 3 292 entries which culminated in heads-up play against Austrian John Forst.  The pair cut a two-way deal, each taking Euro 338 000 leaving Euro 70 000 left to play for.
