Maggio, Frank and Yu take down WSOP events.

Frank Maggio, Christopher Frank and Ben Yu are the World Series of Poker’s (WSOP) latest career bracelet winners.

Frank Maggio topped a record field in Event 31, the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship, to win a massive $617,303 pay day and his first WSOP gold bracelet. Historical attendance records were destroyed with a huge field of 5,309 entrants, 800 more than last year.

WSOP Event 33, the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em was won by 22-year-old Christopher Frank who emerged victorious from a field of 1,698 and headsup battle with Ryan Leng.

Another first time WSOP career bracelet winner, and the first German-native to win a bracelet in the 2017 series, Frank pocketed his largest live score of $384,833.

“I don’t think it really has sunk in yet,” Frank said. “But it’s a very good feeling. I’ve been playing the live circuit for pretty long, and I’ve always dreamed of winning something big. And now I’ve done it.”

Last but not least, Ben Yu claimed victory in Event 34, the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship, outplaying Shaun Deeb for his second WSOP bracelet, the title and a $232,738 payday.

This was Yu’s 49th career WSOP cash, among which have been five previous final tables.
