Massive pay day for poker pro Badziakouski.

Belarus poker pro Mikita Badziakouski’s bank manager will probably be rolling out the red carpet following his huge $5,255,456 first prize victory in the Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea this week.

The win is all the more remarkable due to Badziakouski’s triumph in Triton Montenegro just three months ago, and the fact that he dominated the Jeju final table, eliminating most of the survivors on his way to the heads up.

In fact, the only time Badziakouski looked vulnerable was in early clashes with Malaysia’s Chan Wai Leong, which he survived only to face the Malaysian again in the heads up.

Badziakouski entered heads up action against Chan holding a 5 to 1 chip advantage and despite a determined fight the Malaysian pro was unable to generate enough momentum to constitute a threat; his runner up prize was worth $3,251,376.

The big win takes Badziakouskis live tournament career earnings to  well beyond $16 million.

The event attracted 55 entries, with the final table cashes including:

Richard Yong $2,130,212
Sam Greenwood $1,471,528
Jason Koon $1,079,120
Sergio Aido $826,858
