Dusk Til Dawn Nottingham poker chief Rob Yong has confirmed that the main event of the UKIPT live poker tournament stop in Nottingham will carry a GBP 1 million guaranteed prize pool, ensuring hefty pay-outs for players who make the final table.
With a buy-in of GBP 1,100, the tournament will kick off May 7 with three Day 1 flights to accommodate what is expected to be a large field.
In the main event, players will start with individual chip stacks of 20,000, and one re-entry per player per day is allowed.
Dusk Til Dawn will be hosting a festival of poker over the week, with a GBP 3,000 buy-in High Roller competition with a GBP 300,000 guaranteed prize pool, and a GBP330 buy-in Nottingham Cup event with a guaranteed prize pool of GBP 100,000.
Pokerstars is offering a series of online qualifying satellites where players who don’t have the big buy-in funds can compete for seats online at a more modest cost.
