World Series of Poker event 62, the $1,111 buy-in Little One for One Drop, the mini version of the Big One for One Drop water charity competition, has crowned 48-year-old Ukrainian poker pro Igor Dubinskyy winner after five hard days of competitive poker at the Rio in Las Vegas.
The event attracted a field of 4,496 and created a prize pool of $4,046,400, almost half a million dollars going to the charity.
Among the respected names starting the event were Dan Heimiller, Carlos Mortenson, Antonio Esfandiari, Will Failla, Humberto Brenes, Shannon Shor, Matt Glantz, Eric Baldwin, Michael Tureniec, Oliver Busquet and Brett Shaffer.
It was Dubinskyy’s first WSOP bracelet, with a first prize of $637,539 that dwarfed his previous best of around $42,000.
Heads up, the Ukrainian pro managed to defeat the very experienced American professional player Ted Driscoll, whose runner up prize was $294,281.
