IGT’s significant overhaul of its legacy Boss Media online poker software is attracting applause from many quarters and is reportedly a major improvement in terms of user-friendliness, data presentation and customisation capabilities.
The overhaul improved both desktop and mobile versions of the product, in the latter resolving problems regarding lack of screen space and unwieldy toggling through multiple screens to reach the lobby and other tables. The revamped mobile platform allows play at up to four tables, and has better functionality and views for the player.
The desktop version now features recommended games with full information on each, the players’ most recent or favourite games, and the most popular games on the site. The software “memory” stores personal preferences information like pre-selected raise amounts, use of sliders, and tiled or classic lobby view.
The new product is already proving popular with Italian poker fans, with Canadian and Swedish roll-outs scheduled soon.
