Online poker firms gear up for New Jersey tournaments.

With New Jersey online gambling now moving into full commercial operations, major companies are gearing up their promotional efforts in the new market, with the Party Poker and World Series of Poker brands especially prominent.

The former is vigorously promoting www.njpartypoker.com, with Mike Sexton, a member of the Poker Hall of Fame and founding father of the firm’s professional team saying:

NJ Party Poker is operating around the clock, offering online tournament and cash games as well as FastForward, a high-velocity fast-fold poker game.

The company plans to have a range of poker tournaments on offer in New Jersey every day, with buy-ins ranging from $0.10 to $500 and guaranteed prize pools to attract poker players of all skill levels.  Major highlights on launch include:
