Nick “FU_15” Maimone, a primarily online poker pro, more than doubled his career earnings in one swoop this week at the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas when he took down the $25,000 buy-in High Roller event for $996,480.

173 entrants, augmented by 52 re-entries, created a prize pool worth $5.4 million for the event, which saw Maimone totally dominate the final table, eliminating every finalist on an international roster that included Sean Winter, Dario Sammartino, Brian Yoon, Andrey Zaichenko, Chance Kornuth, Ben Heath and Anton Astapau.

With the elimination of Italian ace Dario Sammartino, Maimone held a small chip lead going into the heads up against US pro Sean Winter, and the two players paused to negotiate a chop.

That locked up $966,480 for Maimone, $914,580 for his last opponent and $30,000 and the trophy for the winner.

When play resumed, Maimone managed to quickly secure a significant enough lead to end the contest in short order.

Other final table cashes included:

Dario Sammartino $542,160
Josh Beckley $439,560
Brian Yoon $347,760
Andrey Zaichenko $264,060
Chance Kornuth $192,780
Ben Heath $116,640
Anton Astapau $116,640
