Palapoker out of beta mode.

Announcing the end of beta testing and the move to full operational status this week, PalaPoker chief operating officer Mike O’Malley indicated that the project is ready to take its next steps forward:

“While we still have a robust roadmap of features and functionality to add to our online poker product, we are encouraged enough by the stability and performance of our platform to move past the beta stage,” he said.

The product has been in development since 2013, when Pala Interactive assembled a stellar executive and development team and began work on PalaPoker and an online casino product (see previous InfoPowa reports).

The casino product emerged in 2014, but the poker offering was not launched until June this year, when it was made available in beta mode in partnership with Atlantic City operator Borgata in the New Jersey online gambling market.

BorgataPoker also includes PartyPoker, and playMGM, but PalaPoker remains a standalone network on its own proprietary Mac and desktop platform – the fourth to launch in New Jersey – and it does not share players or software with other Borgata associates..
