PokerStars tenth annual Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) starts this Sunday and runs for 15 days, with the online poker provider promising the biggest yet guarantee for any PokerStars series with a $65 million overall guarantee as well as $150,000 in Platinum Passes to the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) in The Bahamas.
The popular series will incorporate a diversity of events, formats, buy-ins and prize pools designed to suit all bankrolls with at least one $1 million guaranteed tournament per day. Once again, the series will run with three levels (Low, Medium and High), with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $25,000.
Various PokerStars ambassadors will be playing at the SCOOP tables as well as streaming the events. Members confirmed to play during the series include Lex Veldhuis, Felix Schneiders, Jaime Staples, Kevin Martin, Benjamin Spragg, Fintan Hand and Randy Lew.
