The thirteenth Pokerstars Spin & Go instant millionaire has been created, with Aussie online poker player Anthony “GrindHeaps” Ashton the latest to score after playing just 33 hands in a $100 buy-in game to become wealthy in under ten minutes.
Two runners up from Ireland and England were awarded $100,000 each.
33 hands of action represents a new record for the popular tournaments, although the time taken to conclude the competition did not top the record of nine minutes and 37 seconds set in a previous game, in which a similar seven figure victory was recorded.
Pokerstars reports that the latest million dollar win is the eighth in the past two months.
