Pokerstars New Jersey has wasted no time in deploying its global “onlive” experience to the local market in partnership with its land-based teammate Resorts Casino Hotel and Twitch ace Jason Somerville.

The duo has announced the first Run It Up Resorts Rumble on May 14, an event that combines in-person social poker action with online events on the New Jersey Pokerstars website.

The initiative opens with with a breakfast and meet-and-greet with PokerStars Team Pros Chris Moneymaker, Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Selbst, Liv Boeree, Jen Shahade, and Run It Up founder and Twitch presenter Jason Somerville.

That will be followed by a $30 buy-in NLHE tournament on the Pokerstars NJ website accessible only by players who attended the earlier in-person function, along with a $10 buy-in tournament open to all New Jersey players.

Concluding the day, there will be a VIP Club Live social function.

Tickets to the event are available at a modest $10 per player, with proceeds going to Autism Speaks. Players can also win access through satellites on Pokerstars NJ.
