Online poker site PokerStars will strengthen its relationship with Genting Casinos UK, expanding its partnership to provide an online qualification route for the Genting Poker Series (GPS).
“We already enjoy a strong working relationship with PokerStars and look forward to taking this to the next level to optimise the robust nature of its software for the benefit of our customers,” Kevin Proctor, poker operations manager for Genting Casinos UK, said. “The link with PokerStars will allow more people to take part in the GPS, through the provision of a clear online qualification route.”
Genting, in collaboration with PokerStars, will build on the momentum of its successful GPS with the launch of four PokerStars MEGASTACK events offering a guaranteed prize pool of GBP 25,000 each on an entry fee of GBP 170.
The PokerStars MEGASTACK events will complement Genting’s existing Mini and Main events, with GBP 35,000 and GBP 100,000 guarantees respectively.
“We already have a successful poker tournament, but we’re keen to make sure that we keep things fresh and offer a variety of routes to play,” Proctor added. “The addition of the PokerStars online qualification route and MEGASTACK events will make sure that our players are constantly delighted with what Genting can offer.”
