PokerStars has announced that its popular but ponderously titled Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) is to renamed Turbo Series, and will now take place in February – a month later than has become its traditional slot.
PokerStars has assured players that there will be no loss of momentum in the popular series, which started out with $10 million in guarantees across 50 events and grew to more than $19 million in total prize pools, escalating to $24 million. Current prize pools are well in excess of the basic guarantee of $15 million.
