PokerStars has revealed a few basic details on its plans for the next World Championship of Online Poker tournament series, announcing that the tournament will take place between September 3 and 25 and include a $5,200 buy-in three-day Main Event.

Asking for player input on the forums, a PokerStars representative posted:

“The Super Tuesday and Thursday Thrill special editions will be different each week: half price in week one, their normal price but 3-day tournaments in week two, and $2,100 in week three. Also, for the first time ever, we’re going to run a HORSE Phase Event in which Phase 1s from Monday-Friday represent each HORSE letter (Monday as FLHE, Tuesday as FLO8, etc.), with the final Phase 1 and Phase 2 on Saturday being traditional HORSE. There’s some other bigger surprises I can’t share yet which I’m excited for you all to see.”
