The remaining players in this titanic multi-million dollar fight resumed play at Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel, Friday, July 15. Chip counts as of 6:19 pm Vegas time – play started at 4.00pm – were as follows:

1. Aaron Kanter – $11,270,000 (seat 6)
2. Andrew Black – $10,550,000 (seat 2)
3. Tex Barch – $9,100,000 (seat 3)
4. Scott Lazar – $6,740,000 (seat 9)
5. Joseph Hachem – $6,300,000 (seat 1)
6. Steve Dannenmann – $5,810,000 (seat 8)
7. Daniel Bergsdorf – $4,590,000 (seat 4)
8. Brad Kondracki – $1,970,000 (seat 7)

The action was intense, with pots as large as 6.6 million.

Mike “The Mouth” Matusow went out in 9th place, knocked out in a clash with Dannemann.The remaining eight players continued their battle for the title of World Champion. Matusow said, “I played six days of the best poker of my life, and I’m gonna go to bed happy.”

Brad Kondracki was next, eliminated in 8th place with prize money of $1,150,000

Then Daniel Bergsdorf fell in 7th Place ($1,300,000)

Scott Lazar went out at 6th place ($1,500,000)
