Online poker players, especially those with a penchant for tournaments will be evaluating the latest version of Wagerlogic / Cryptologic’s poker software this weekend following its release at the end of March.
The new upgrade mainly addresses the tournament side of poker, with perhaps one of the most exciting new features being the Super-Satellite genre that is designed to filter winners into the big bricks and mortar poker room finals where the really rich pickings reside.
Crypto’s new software also introduces new high-speed Thunder Tournaments, which shortens the blinds, reduces player timers and promises fast-paced poker excitement. This ‘turbo-charged’ version restricts player decision-making time to just 12 seconds.

In an effort to reward players for their business, points can be accumulated in the My Poker Points (MPP) program by playing in regular games. Players can then use the My Poker Points for buy-ins into online poker tournaments.
Andy Goetsch, CryptoLogic’s Vice President of Poker Software Development said considerable thought and research has gone into the new iteration: “By understanding and anticipating the wants, needs and wishes of the online player, our software is offering something for every type of Internet poker player,” he said.
